Yamamoto throws a right and a left that Meyer avoids nicely. Meyer tries to grapple but his opponent circles #TD# and Yamamoto counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Yamamoto looking to control the position here, rather than advance. #SU# Yamamoto decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Yamamoto was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Meyer avoids the head kick by Yamamoto.
Meyer closes the distance but Yamamoto moves to the side and Yamamoto counters with a left and a right that stings Meyer. Yamamoto's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Yamamoto duly obliges. #CUT# It looks like Sergej Meyer has been cut. Yamamoto avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
