Herring darts in and clinches Maxibon up against the cage.
Maxibon jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Herring walks away with a smile on his face. Maxibon gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Maxibon tries to close the distance and clinch but Herring swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. #CL#
Herring clinches.
Maxibon wants to stall.
Herring is trying to pull guard but Maxibon has him pressed against the cage.
Herring scores with a shot to the side of Maxibon's head. #TD#
Herring gets control of Maxibon's arms and successfully pulls guard. Herring will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.#SU2#
Maxibon decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Maxibon not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

That was a close second round but I would say that Dwayne Herring will probably get the nod.
