#R1##TD# Steve shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Steve sitting and controlling from the half guard. #SUB2# Rypalev looking for submissions off his back. Steve knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rypalev on the ground.#SUB2# Rypalev looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Rypalev is pressing down on Steve's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Steve is looking to stand up but Rypalev won't let him. #SUB2# Rypalev had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Steve defends it easily.#SUB2# Steve is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Rypalev has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Steve is looking to defend but Rypalev has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Steve! Rypalev pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Steve taps out and this one is all over!

#R1# Bjj dips to his left and cracks Steve with an uppercut! Steve throws a right and a left that both miss. Bjj lands with a shot to the body. Bjj throws a body shot but no joy. #TD# Steve closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Bjj to the mat! Bjj manages to get full guard. Bjj tries to land a sweep but no joy. Steve might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.#SUB2# Steve got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bjj has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Steve has managed to get both his arms back between Bjj 's legs - danger averted.#SUB2# Bjj had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Steve defends it easily. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Steve throws a strike but Bjj rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. #REVB##T1# Bjj slips nicely into half guard. Steve wants to control but Bjj is keeping busy and won't allow it. Steve won't allow Bjj to pass to mount. #SUB2# Bjj is trying to work for a kimura but Steve is defending well.

Steve is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. #T2# Steve striking from half guard on the bottom. Steve could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Bjj throwing shots but Steve is blocking nicely. Steve taking some punishment here, with Bjj in his half guard. Steve trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Bjj manages to pass to mount!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bjj throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Steve avoids a series of strikes thrown by Bjj .
#SUB2# Bjj looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.#T3# Steve tries to hold on but Bjj pushes him away. Bjj with shots to the head and body - Steve looks very uncomfortable down there. Bjj with good strikes from the mount here!#SUB2# Bjj jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Steve manages to avoid the submission attempt. Steve bucks up and tries to throw Bjj off but instead Bjj has got his back!#SUB2# Steve is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
#T4##SUB2# Bjj is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Steve with him. Steve is trying to defend but Bjj has an arm under the chin now! Steve grimaces and is forced to tap out!
