As Alvarez backs off Boryska throws a huge counter combo but Alvarez manages to avoid it all. Alvarez swings widly with a right hand
and Boryska counters with a series of strikes. Alvarez will be more careful next time no doubt. Alvarez misses with a wild combination.
The fighters circle, before Boryska throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Alvarez's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Boryska lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

Alvarez looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.#SUB2# McKagan is working to tighten his grip on Alvarez's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Alvarez has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but McKagan is really squeezing tight and eventually Alvarez passes out! McKagan breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
