#R1# Chapman misses with a kick to the body #TD# so Marshall counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. #ES2# Chapman is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Chapman is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Marshall is keeping busy.#TD# Marshall turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Marshall manages to end up in side control. Chapman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Marshall. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Marshall lands an elbow. Marshall lands a few punches from side control. Marshall grinds an elbow into Chapman's temple. Marshall working the body and head with strikes. Marshall landing a few strikes. #T1# Marshall is working Chapman over with some ground and pound from side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Marshall looks up at the clock and then as Chapman takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Marshall smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Chapman tries to buck Marshall off but Marshall is having none of it. Chapman is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Chapman takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Chapman tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Marshall presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Chapman in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Marshall has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Chapman is looking to improve his position but Marshall isn't that keen on the idea. Marshall lands a big elbow. #T2# Marshall postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Chapman looks a forlorn figure.
#ROC# Chapman is rocked! Marshall really is a fat lump. Marshall tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Marshall landing strikes, looking to finish! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Chapman keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Marshall lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Marshall landing strikes from the mount and Chapman is in trouble! Marshall postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Chapman bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Marshall and the fight is over!
