#R1# We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Bean uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Southbank. Bean looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Southbank throws a looping overhand right but Bean ducks down to avoid it. It seemed like Bean was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Ron Southbank seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Southbank misses with a straight left. Bean throws out a counter right but Southbank avoids it with no problem. Southbank throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Southbank pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Bean is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Southbank with a body shot. Southbank throws a jab when Bean was well out of range. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Bean!
