#R1##TD2# McNulty scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. #SUB2# McNulty is trying a forearm choke I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Guerrero could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. McNulty looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. McNulty passes to side control. McNulty trying to control the action but Guerrero is working from the bottom. McNulty tries to advance to mount but Guerrero denies him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McNulty working away. Guerrero tries to bench press McNulty off him but McNulty keeps the position. #SUB2# McNulty has hold of Guerrero's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Guerrero tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - McNulty cranks the arm and Guerrero screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Guerrero, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). James McNulty!
