#R1# Taktarov looks to land a combination. Rodgers sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.#CUT2# It looks like Oren Rodgers has been cut. Taktarov should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.#TD2# Rodgers gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Taktarov to score an easy takedown into full guard.#SU2# Taktarov gets to his feet. Rodgers looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Look low, kick high! Taktarov uses the oldest trick in the book to send Rodgers tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Taktarov is absolutely delighted - when Rodgers wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!

#R1# Shaw lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
#TD2# Shaw scores with a takedown into Rodgers's guard. Shaw stays in close to Rodgers's body and controls the position. Shaw must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.#SUB# Rodgers working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Shaw doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Shaw manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rodgers preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rodgers is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Rodgers has Shaw pulled in close to control his posture. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Shaw accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. #T1# Rodgers bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Shaw's guard. #REVR# Rodgers won't allow Shaw to sweep him here. Rodgers would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Shaw working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Rodgers. Rodgers loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Rodgers prevents Shaw from getting back to his feet. Rodgers wants to control from the top but Shaw keeps moving. Rodgers throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. #T2# The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Rodgers trying to control the position from guard on top but Shaw is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. #REF3# The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.#TD2# Shaw feints and as Rodgers raises his hands in defense, Shaw changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Rodgers tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Shaw is not content to let Rodgers control the position. #T3# The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Shaw tries to get back to half guard but can't. Shaw wants to control but Rodgers postures up. Shaw looks winded! Rodgers wants to stand but Shaw has his arm trapped. Shaw parries the strikes from Rodgers easily there. Rodgers is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Shaw to escape.
Shaw prevents Rodgers from moving into mount. Rodgers wants to lay and pray for a moment but Shaw keeps working. #T4# The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Rodgers working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Rodgers tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Rodgers tries to stand but Shaw controls the position and pulls Rodgers into his guard. Rodgers wants to control from the top but Shaw keeps moving. Rodgers pushing down on Shaw's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! That was a close round but I would say that Oren Rodgers will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! #R2# Rodgers misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Rodgers darts in trying to clinch#TD2# and Shaw counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Rodgers keeping moving, preventing Shaw from controlling successfully. Shaw really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rodgers. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.#SUB# Rodgers escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Shaw gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. #SUB# Rodgers is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Shaw stays in close to Rodgers's body and controls the position. #T1##SUB# Rodgers is looking to cinch up a triangle. Shaw throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Rodgers's body to avoid the submission. Rodgers has instead reached around Shaw's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Rodgers arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

#R1##TD2# Hunter throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Rodgers tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Hunter is in Rodgers's guard. Hunter is stalling in the full guard. Hunter trying to control the position from guard on top but Rodgers is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Hunter controls from within his opponent's guard. Hunter wants to control from the top but Rodgers keeps moving. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hunter preventing the sweep. Rodgers controlling Hunter's posture. #T1# Hunter in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Rodgers is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Hunter is controlling him. #REF3# The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Rodgers shoots in looking for a takedown. Hunter tries to sprawl out of it but Rodgers keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hunter manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. #TD2# Rodgers gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Hunter to score an easy takedown into full guard. #T4# A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Rodgers tries to strike but it doesn't land. Hunter trying to control the position but Rodgers is working away. #SU2# Hunter stands up and we're back to a striking position. Hunter stuffs the takedown attempt from Rodgers. Rodgers gets slowly back to his feet. #TD2# Hunter changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Rodgers looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Rodgers is not content to let Hunter control the position. Rodgers wants to control but Hunter postures up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jake Hunter dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! #R2# Rodgers fails with the takedown and Hunter counters with a lovely straight right hand!#CL2# The fight moves into the clinch position. Rodgers is trying to maintain a safe position but Hunter gets an underhook and turns Rodgers into the cage.#TD2# Hunter tightens his grip and picks Rodgers up, before dumping him to the ground. #R1# Rodgers shoots in and drives through. Aliakbari sprawls well. Aliakbari looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Rodgers closes the distance but Aliakbari moves to the side #TD2# and Aliakbari counters with a nice double leg into guard. Rodgers can't keep his opponent in guard - Aliakbari advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Rodgers is trying to stand back up but Aliakbari is controlling him
