Shepherd tries to sprawl but Vaisanin drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Shepherd is looking to get back to is feet but Vaisanin passes into side control.
Vaisanin just content to control the position.
Shepherd struggling a bit here.

Shepherd wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land.
Vaisanin creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
A lull in the action here as Vaisanin stalls from top position.
Shepherd really is a fat lump.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Vaisanin has hold of Shepherd's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Shepherd tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Vaisanin cranks the arm and Shepherd screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Shepherd, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
