The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gensen is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Gensen working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Margarito. Margarito stands and throws Gensen's legs to the side, diving into side control. Gensen being controlled for a moment. Margarito has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.#SUB# Margarito is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Gensen is trying to escape and Margarito transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Gensen is forced to tap! Nice work there by Margarito! Very nice indeed!

Gensen creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Pickett's defenses. #CUT2# It looks like Warner Pickett has been cut. Gensen is trying to maintain a safe position but Pickett gets an underhook and turns Gensen into the cage.#BC# Pickett breaks from the clinch.

#TD# Pickett has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Gensen clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Hoover was covering up waiting for the punch and Gensen finishes the takedown easily into guard. #ES# Hoover scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Gensen is trying to keep an underhook but Hoover manages to get the takedown into half guard. Gensen is trying to escape back to his feet but Hoover uses the scramble to pass into side control.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Gensen is trying to escape the position but Hoover is controlling the position.
