Corleone misses with a takedown attempt - Dokov sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. A punch combination from Dokov misses. Dokov is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Corleone shoots in for a double leg but Dokov sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.#CL# Dokov rushes Corleone and presses him up against the cage. Corleone has Dokov pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Dokov manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Doko Dokov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Danny Corleone. Dokov can't find room to land a body shot as Corleone controls the action.

Corleone tries to throw a body punch but Dokov avoids it by throwing Corleone back against the cage. Dokov struggles to land a body shot inside as Corleone controls his hands.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Corleone's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Corleone tries to land a knee to the head but Dokov blocks with his arms.

Can Dokov finish him? Dokov creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Corleone with a big uppercut! Corleone tries to clinch up but Dokov pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Corleone to the mat! Corleone covers up and Dokov unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

A very excited looking Doko Dokov made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.

#R1##TD2# Corleone decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Corleone controlling the pace. Corleone looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Corleone missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Landry blocking the ground and pound attempt from Corleone. #SUB2# Corleone is looking for a kimura but Landry is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Corleone to get the leverage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Landry is refusing to be controlled, as Corleone sits in half guard. Landry avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Corleone. Landry is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Beau's that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet. Corleone throwing shots but Landry is blocking nicely. #T1# Corleone not landing any meaningful shots this time. #SUB2# Corleone is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Corleone thows a huge punch but Landry dodges it nicely.
Corleone content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Corleone has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at The Kegerator - 650$. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one. Straight right from Landry, and it's lights out! Corleone really payed the price for that rookie mistake.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Cruz lands a nice short elbow. Corleone trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Cruz manages to pass to mount!
Cruz working away from the top, dropping strikes. Cruz has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Corleone really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Corleone tries to lock up and control but Cruz gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Cruz controlling the pace for now. Cruz with good strikes from the mount here!#T1# Cruz is in the full mount, landing strikes. Cruz avoids the attempt from Corleone to control. Cruz pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Cruz has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Corleone's face.
Corleone is still in real trouble! Can Cruz finish him? Corleone is wriggling around trying to escape.

Eight Three One One One One Five Two Two Blue Eigh pulls Corleone in close to prevent any damage. Eight Three One One One One Five Two Two Blue Eigh wants to sweep but no luck. Corleone stops Eight Three One One One One Five Two Two Blue Eigh from standing up. #SUB2# Corleone is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Eight Three One One One One Five Two Two Blue Eigh is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Eight Three One One One One Five Two Two Blue Eigh has escaped and now he's on top! #REVR# Corleone lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.#REVB# We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. #R1# Thift lands with a straight right. Corleone didn't see that one coming.#CUT# It looks like Danny Corleone has been cut. Thift tries to bum rush Corleone with a series of wild strikes but Corleone uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Corleone tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Corleone ducks under a wild hook from Thift. Thift throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Thift throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Corleone. Corleone slips under a jab from Thift.#TD2# Corleone feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Corleone looking to pass the guard. Thift wants to sweep but no luck. Corleone trying to control but Thift is working from the bottom. Thift throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Thift will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Buckley is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Corleone has just dragged him back down to the mat. Buckley knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Corleone on the ground. You can see the frustration on Buckley's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Corleone avoids the strikes from the bottom by Buckley.#SUB2# Corleone tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. #SUB2# Corleone has hold of Buckley's arm. He's looking for a kimura. #R1# Corleone tries to move into range but Nator moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.#CUT2# It looks like Danny Corleone has been cut. We've been informed that Nator has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Nator slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Spurgu Nator seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Corleone is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Nator throws a hook to the side of Corleone's head but Corleone sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Nator lands a jab to Corleone's midsection. Corleone shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Nator throws a nice looking combination but Corleone bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Corleone drops down looking for a counter takedown but Nator sprawls and moves away. No luck with that takedown attempt from Corleone. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#KD2# Nator lands a left and a right that send Corleone crashing to the mat, dazed.
