Yong tries to pull guard but Simon holds him up against the cage and eventually Yong drops back down to his feet.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sily changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.#TD# Simon closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Sily did well to prevent Simon getting side control. Sily is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Sily is controlling Simon's position as best he can from this difficult position. Sily on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Sily is looking to improve his position.

Simon swivels though and keeps the full guard. Simon controls Schlatter momentarily but Schlatter frees himself. Schlatter throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Schlatter works a leg free and moves into half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Schlatter is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Simon on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. #T1# Schlatter trying to control the action but Simon is working from the bottom. Schlatter not landing any meaningful shots this time. #R1# Simon has his takedown stuffed and Orel counters with a two punch combo. Orel stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Orel wants it to stay on the feet. Simon takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Simon doesn't succeed with the takedown and Orel counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Issac Simon. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Simon throws a body kick that misses. Orel moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.#ROC2# Simon is rocked! Orel is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Simon like a ton of bricks!
