But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Terrence, into his guard. #REVR# Holden throws a big elbow that misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Holden in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Holden has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Holden with a flurry of punches that miss. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Terrence looking to hit a scissor sweep but Holden is one step ahead there. Holden throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. #T1# Holden throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Terrence works some decent striking defense from the bottom. That was a close round but I would say that Lindsey Holden will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. #R1# Moreland tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Horrible takedown attempt by Moreland or perhaps it was just good defense by Terrence, which made it look bad. Moreland goes for a double leg but Terrence avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Terrence continues to drive forward.#CL2# Moreland darts in and clinches Terrence up against the cage. Terrence goes for a takedown attempt but Moreland pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Moreland throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Terrence. A jab lands there for Moreland. Moreland lands with a right that hurts Terrence. Terrence looks to clinch but Moreland throws a short knee that drops Terrence. This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch and Knee). Bunk Moreland!

#TD2# Kazakov pulls guard. Terrence seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Terrence won't allow Kazakov to get back to his feet. Terrence scoring with punches to the head and body. Terrence is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kazakov wants to stand but Terrence is controlling the position. Terrence looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Kazakov is looking to stand up but Terrence isn't so interested in that idea. #T1# Kazakov can't keep his opponent in guard - Terrence advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Terrence stops Kazakov from getting back to his feet.
Well, if Terrence is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Kazakov looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Terrence winds up and cracks Kazakov with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Terrence perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Kazakov is trying to stand.

#R1##CL2# Schultz rushes Terrence and presses him up against the cage. Schultz is pressed up against the cage. Terrence has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Schultz down to the mat. Schultz avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. #CL2# Schultz moves into the clinch successfully.
#TD# Terrence has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Schultz clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!#SUB# Schultz is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Terrence gets his way!
Terrence is landing with strikes from the back. A bit of a pause in the action here. Terrence controlling the positon. Terrence looking to soften up his opponent with punches.

Schultz looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Terrence controlling the position. Terrence working the body and head with strikes. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Schultz for as long as he can get away with. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Terrence's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.#REF3# The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action.
