Brennan connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Rain momentarily.

Brennan fails with a takedown attempt.

Brennan attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
It looked like Rain wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Brennan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Numbah Five. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.#T2#
You can see the frustration on Numbah Five's face as Brennan controls the position.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Brennan working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Numbah Five pushes Brennan away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Brennan gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
The referee asks Brennan politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Brennan prefers to stall for the moment though.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

That was a close round but I would say that Fightah Numbah Five will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Brennan shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Cobzone defends it nicely.
Cobzone connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Brennan's hands.

and Cobzone connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
and Cobzone counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Brennan! He's just covering up as Cobzone starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!

A very excited looking Iosif Cobzone rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
