McCorry looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Garrett with a flurry of punches that miss.
Garrett is working McCorry over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Garrett tries to free his leg and advance position but McCorry is retaining full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

McCorry has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Garrett doesn't defend quickly enough and McCorry has managed to lock this one up! Can Garrett escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to McCorry on a fantastic submission victory.

McCorry feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
McCorry won't allow Minarsich to sweep him here.
Minarsich really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McCorry. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
McCorry wants to control from the top but Minarsich keeps moving.
McCorry engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
McCorry passes Minarsich's left leg - he's now in half guard.
