Tappedout shoots in looking for a takedown but Rodgers manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Tappedout's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. A combination from Rodgers does no damage. Tappedout attempts a counter takedown but Rodgers avoids it well and moves away.#CL2# Rodgers has closed the distance and engaged Tappedout in a clinch.

#R1##TD2# Tappedout decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Tappedout keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Pickett has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Tappedout is working away from the top position though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#SUB2# Tappedout is trying to work for a kimura but Pickett is defending well.
Still in half guard, Tappedout seems content to control. Pickett is trying to maintain the position but Tappedout is very close to passing his half guard. Tappedout looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Stevenson feinted there with a counter leg kick.#TD# Stevenson scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tappedout is looking for a sweep. Tappedout wants to control but Stevenson postures up. Stevenson in side control, just content to control the action for now. Tappedout holding on. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
