#R1##TD2# Slaughter shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Slaughter showed some decent athleticism there. Kiwi tries to kick Slaughter off but Slaughter keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Slaughter content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#T1# It looks like Slaughter might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Slaughter is continuing to stall. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.#REF3# The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.#T2# The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.#TD2# Slaughter throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Kiwi tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Slaughter is in Kiwi's guard. Slaughter sitting in guard here, content to control. Kiwi might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Kiwi is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Slaughter stays in close to Kiwi's body and controls the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#T3# Kiwi wants to stand but Slaughter is controlling the position. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.#REF3# The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Nice takedown defense from Slaughter. No joy for Kiwi on that attempt. #TD2# Slaughter shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Kiwi's guard. Slaughter content to stall in guard here. #T4# Kiwi is looking to stand back up but Slaughter counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Kiwi. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Still in half guard, Slaughter seems content to control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Max Slaughter dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. #R2##CL2# Slaughter gets a clinch. Slaughter lands a shoulder strike. A head punch on the inside from Slaughter fails to land. Slaughter lands with a light punch inside. Slaughter lands a hook to the side of the head.#TD2# Slaughter wants the takedown. Kiwi is fighting it off but Slaughter persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Kiwi's guard against the cage. Slaughter stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kiwi swivels though and keeps the full guard. Slaughter stays in close to Kiwi's body and controls the position. Let's hope that Slaughter has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.#T1# Kiwi is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Slaughter lands an uppercut. A nice right hand lands inside from Slaughter. Kiwi is trying to break the clinch but Slaughter is controlling him. Slaughter avoiding damage.

Slaughter lands a left hand that snaps the head of Kiwi backwards. Slaughter has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Kiwi is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Slaughter to keep the fight standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Strawberry Kiwi. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kiwi is trying to force a seperation but Slaughter has the dominant position. Slaughter has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Kiwi after a bit of a struggle. Slaughter scores with an uppercut up the middle.#T3# Slaughter blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Kiwi drops down looking for an ankle pick but Slaughter pulls his leg out and moves away.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.#TD2# Slaughter shoots in and bounces Kiwi off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Slaughter forces his way into half guard. Slaughter perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Slaughter's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.#T4##SU2# Slaughter gets to his feet - back to striking we go! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Max Slaughter showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. And we move into the final round! #R3##CL# Kiwi pushes Slaughter up against the cage in a clinch. A frustrated look appears on Kiwi's face as he tries to break the clinch. Kiwi is looking to break free of the clinch but Slaughter has double underhooks. Kiwi throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Slaughter blocks it with crossed arms. Kiwi wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

#CL# Kiwi closes the distance and clinches. A left hand lands to the body for Slaughter.

Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Slaughter slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. #T1# Slaughter works a leg free and moves into half guard. #T2# Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Slaughter controlling the action here. Max Slaughter has got the better of the ground game so far.#REF3# The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Strawberry Kiwi is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.#T3##CL2# Slaughter moves into the clinch.#BC2# Slaughter escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
#CL# Kiwi instigates a clinch. Kiwi jumps guard but Slaughter turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Slaughter. Max Slaughter seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far. Slaughter lands an elbow inside that Kiwi shrugs off. #BC2# Slaughter breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!#CL# Kiwi pushes Slaughter up against the cage in a clinch. Slaughter managing to block the knees to the body from Kiwi.
#TD2# Slaughter turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Kiwi seems a little lost for a moment, as Slaughter dominates the positioning. Kiwi is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Slaughter asserts his dominance and retains side control. Max Slaughter is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Both fighters are breathing heavily.#T4# Slaughter is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Kiwi's shoulder. That is not cool. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.#REF3# The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Max Slaughter. Well Slaughter has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Kiwi closes the distance but Sight moves to the side enabling Sight to counter with a crisp jab. Strawberry Kiwi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.#TD# Kiwi closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Sight to the mat! Sight manages to get full guard. Kiwi trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Kiwi missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Kiwi trying to move into half guard but instead Sight has managed to sweep!#REVB# Kiwi might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.#SU2# Kiwi is working an open guard so Sight takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Sight lands a jab.#CL# Kiwi gets in close and instigates a clinch. This has been an exciting period of action! Kiwi tries a knee to the head but Sight blocks it.

Sight is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Kiwi misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Sight.
#BC2# Sight breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Kiwi shoots and misses and Sight counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Strawberry Kiwi. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kiwi tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Sight cracks Kiwi with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.#ROC2# Kiwi is rocked! Sight has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Sight lands an uppercut, right on the button! Kiwi tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.
