James clinches up against the cage.
Hamed blocks a body shot from James. #BC2#
James breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Hamed wants to clinch#TD2#
and James counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Hamed is trying to stand back up but James is controlling him
James perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Hamed tries to push off, looking to stand up, but James manages to move to mount!
Hamed knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for James on the ground.
Hamed is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy. #T1#
James in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
James has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

James is landing with some decent strikes but Hamed is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
James lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Hamed is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Daniel avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Daniel is looking to counter the offense by Hamed and move into the clinch.
Hamed tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Daniel manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Daniel swats away the attempt to clinch by Hamed.
It looked like Daniel was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Hamed.
Hamed moves to clinch but Daniel breaks away #TD#
and Daniel counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hamed is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Daniel dives into side control. #SUB#
Hamed tries to escape back to his feet but Daniel has kept hold of him... Oh, now he's got Hamed's back and is looking for the choke... Is it? Is it sunk in? YES! Hamed is tapping! Daniel saw the opportunity and took it - ruthless!
