Miguel shoots in for a takedown but Tuhura shows good takedown defense. Tuhura feinted there with a counter leg kick. Miguel tries to score a power double leg takedown but Tuhura sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Miguel somewhat. Kyoksu Tuhura has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joao Miguel. Miguel shoots in and drives through. Tuhura sprawls well. Tuhura seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Miguel looks winded! Tuhura tries to close the distance and clinch but Miguel swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Tuhura connects with a body shot that sends Miguel's belly button to the back. Joao Miguel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Horrible takedown attempt by Miguel or perhaps it was just good defense by Tuhura, which made it look bad. Tuhura tries to clinch but Miguel is having none of it. Tuhura misses with a body shot.

That was a close round but I would say that Leopoldo Rich will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning.
