Castro takes a swing at Ion's ribcage but misses. And Ion tries to counter it with a takedown but Castro pushes his down on his head and steps out. Castro moves to clinch but Ion breaks away #TD2# and Ion decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Castro's guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.#SUB# Castro looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Tequesas throws a combination that misses and Castro connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Austin Tequesas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Castro avoids the head kick by Tequesas.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Harvey Castro. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Castro, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
