Kerzner pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Rodgers is keeping the position for now. Kerzner is working hard here to advance position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rodgers pulls Kerzner in to control the position. #T1# Kerzner tries to free his leg and advance position but Rodgers is retaining full guard. Kerzner trying to control but Rodgers is working from the bottom. #REF3# The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Rodgers takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Kerzner rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Rodgers finish him?!
#ROC2#Kerzner is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kerzner walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Kerzner limp body while Rodgers jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!

Baker sitting in guard, not really doing much. Baker stopping the sweep attempt from Rodgers. Rodgers keeping moving, preventing Baker from controlling successfully. Baker passes Rodgers's right leg, so he's now in half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Baker trying to control the action but Rodgers is working from the bottom. #SUB2# Baker is looking for a kimura but Rodgers is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Baker to get the leverage. #T1# Baker is keen to just control but Rodgers is a slippery customer. Baker is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. #SUB2# Baker looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Rodgers listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Anthony Rodgers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rodgers throws a jab but it's blocked by Sogrin. Sogrin moves away from the strike by Rodgers. Sogrin walks into a left hand. Sogrin has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Sogrin throws a body kick that misses. Rodgers fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Sogrin has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Sogrin on the wrong end of a nice hook. Rodgers throws out a loose jab but Sogrin uses good head movement to avoid it. Rodgers slips a straight right by Sogrin. Sogrin pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Rodgers back to the cage. Sogrin follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.#ROC2#Rodgers is rocked! Sogrin fakes the body blow, causing Rodgers to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Rodgers goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!

Silva shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Rodgers pinned against the cage. Rodgers gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Silva misses with a low kick as Rodgers jumps back. Silva looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Anthony Rodgers has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rickson Silva. Rodgers with a body punch. A glancing blow. Both fighters circling a little - Rodgers finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Silva looks winded!#KD# Rodgers lands a big uppercut and Silva crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Silva looks OK. Rodgers waves Silva back to his feet!#CUT#It looks like Rickson Silva has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Rodgers is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Silva flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Silva is out cold! Rodgers holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Baker pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Left hook, right uppercut from Rodgers. Rodgers keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Baker listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Rodgers ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Baker moves away. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Baker! But no joy. Rodgers clobbers Baker with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Baker connects with a nice looking jab.

Rodgers uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Rico has time to react. Rodgers waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Rico. Rodgers thuds his shin into the meat of Rico's side. Rico defending well as Rodgers loads up on a big left hand. Rodgers comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Rodgers jabs Rico right on the nose. Rico blinks but takes it well. Rodgers throws a leg kick which misses Rico's front leg but catches the back leg as Rico tries to avoid it. Rico on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Rodgers moves into range and connects with a jab. Rico with a poor takedown enabling Rodgers to counter with a crisp jab. This has been an exciting period of action! A nice combination there by Rico.

Rico lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Rodgers is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent. Master tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Rodgers counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Rodgers misses with a looping right. Master looks to clinch enabling Rodgers to counter with a crisp jab. Rodgers moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Rodgers throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Master sees it coming and avoids it easily. Rodgers throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Bogduk takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.#CUT2# It looks like FunkBoy Bogduk has been cut. Bogduk misses the body punch and Rodgers cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Rodgers moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
#KD2# Rodgers cracks Bogduk with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Rodgers has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Bogduk to stand back up! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Rodgers catches Bogduk with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Bogduk forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!

Ihantala throws a quick inside leg kick. Ihantala throws a leg kick which misses Rodgers's front leg but catches the back leg as Rodgers tries to avoid it. Ihantala ducks right into an uppercut from Rodgers. Rodgers should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. A jab from Rodgers misses. Ihantala is looking to slow Rodgers down with leg kicks. Rodgers cracks Ihantala with a right hand to the side of the head. A nice leg kick lands there from Ihantala. Rodgers stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Rodgers throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ihantala fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Rodgers. Ihantala delivers a nice body kick. Ihantala lands a nice leg kick that just misses Rodgers's sensitive parts. Rodgers looks to land a combination but Ihantala avoids it well. Rodgers's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Ihantala fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Ihantala tried to score with a low kick but Rodgers checks it. Ihantala throws a quick inside leg kick. #T1# Rodgers throws a lazy right hand but Ihantala sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Ihantala ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Ihantala avoids a lazy jab quite easily. As Rodgers backs away, Ihantala returns fire with a leg kick that just misses. Rodgers blocks a head kick by Ihantala.
Rodgers is looking to score with low kicks. Ihantala looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger. Rodgers stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Ihantala. Ihantala bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Ihantala half committed to a counter leg kick. Ihantala throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Tali Ihantala seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rodgers takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.

Rodgers takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Ihantala wants to land a leg kick but Rodgers is out of range. Rodgers works Ihantala's body with a nice hook. Ihantala gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Rodgers. Ihantala moves away from the strike by Rodgers. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Ihantala.
