Coming up we have a super heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Achilles Kane (ranked 6755 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trevina Gunter (ranked 3028 p4p, 0 weight class). Trevina Gunter acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Gunter tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Kane defends well and Gunter ends up having to push Kane into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Gunter has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Kane is landing a low percentage of strikes. Gunter fails with an attempt to clinch.
Gunter dives in and grabs Kane's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kane pushes down on Gunter's head and hops out. Kane changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. That's going to take a lot out of Trevina Gunter. Kane tries to sprawl but Gunter drives through with a takedown into half guard. This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Helio Silva! And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Achilles Kane! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Ian Loll and Alec Ball.

We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Silva swats away the attempt to clinch by Kane. Silva feinted with a counter takedown. Kane has closed the distance and engaged Silva in a clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kane turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Kane manages to end up in side control. Score +4 for clean takedown past guard: Silva (0) vs (4) Kane Kane wants to control but Silva is keeping him busy. Silva's coaches at Hellcademy have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silva tries to bench press Kane off him but Kane keeps the position. A bit of a lull in the action here. Silva manages to get back to half guard. Silva controlling the position for now. Kane is keen to just control but Silva is a slippery customer. Silva preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Silva wants to get back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Silva keeping control of the position. Silva is looking to improve his position.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Kane wants to free his trapped foot but Silva is holding on for dear life with his legs. Silva is controlling Kane's position as best he can from this difficult position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Silva is trying to get back to full guard. Silva is pressing down on Kane's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Silva pulls Kane in close to his closed guard and prevents Kane from doing any damage or advancing position. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Silva is on top in guard.

Silva slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Silva trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Silva seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

That's seven minutes gone in the round. Silva passes easily into side control. Nice work. Score +3 for passing guard: Silva (5) vs (4) Kane Silva moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
That's eight minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Kane's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's nine minutes gone in the round. Silva controls the position. Silva's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
That's ten minutes gone in the round. Kane should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Silva has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
That's eleven minutes gone in the round. This is a sustained period of stalling by Silva. Silva seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Kane for as long as he can get away with. Kane is trying to get back to half guard.
That's twelve minutes gone in the round. Silva controlling from side mount.
That's thirteen minutes gone in the round. Kane wants to control but Silva postures up.
That's fourteen minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here as Silva stalls from top position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Silva working away. Kane trying to remain calm as Silva controls from the top position.

Kane works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.#CUT2# It looks like Wilbur Wallace has been cut. Wilbur Wallace seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kane fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Wallace scores with a jab. Kane acknowledges it with a nod of the head. #CUT# It looks like Achilles Kane has been cut.#CL# Wallace gets a clinch. Kane trying to stall but Wallace improves his position.
Kane misses with a hook to the ribs.
Wallace could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Kane prevents Wallace from breaking the clinch. Kane throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Kane is trying to maintain a safe position but Wallace gets an underhook and turns Kane into the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A right handed body shot lands from Wallace.
Kane looks winded! Kane wants to stall.
A battle for position here, against the cage. Kane is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Wallace throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Kanes head. #T1##BC# Wallace escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Wallace sets himself, and Kane steps forward looking for the clinch! Wallace avoids it this time.#KD# Wallace lands a big shot that drops Kane! Can he finish him?

A slow jab from Wallace misses its intended target. As Wallace backs off Kane throws a huge counter combo but Wallace manages to avoid it all.#T3# Kane slips a jab from Wallace.#CL# Wallace gets a clinch. Kane lands a nice shot to the body. Wallace blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. A short right hand to the side of the head by Wallace. Kane tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Wallace's elbow. Wallace blocks a body shot from Kane. Wallace avoiding damage.
Wallace lands on the inside with an uppercut. #BC# Wallace pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Kane loads up on a big right hand but Wallace slips the punch. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.#KD# Wallace waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Kane. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Kane to the canvas! Can he finish him!?
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.#T4# The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Wallace wanted to stand there but Kane had control of the position. #SU# Wallace gets to his feet. Kane looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Wilbur Wallace dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! #R2# Wallace connects with a right hand. Kane shakes it off.#CL# Wallace gets in close and instigates a clinch. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.#KD# Wallace lands a big right hand that sends Kane to the canvas! This could be the beginning of the end for Kane! #CUT# That has opened up Achilles Kane's cut even more. Kane is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Wallace wants to get back to his feet.
#SU# Wallace decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. #T1# Wallace ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Kane out cold! The fight is over!
