Slingin is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Beasley wants to stand and escape but instead Slingin has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. #REVB# Slingin lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Slingin won't allow Beasley to sweep him here. Slingin working some strikes from top position. Slingin controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Beasley keeping full guard, as Slingin tries to pass. Slingin has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Slingin with a nice head shot there. Beasley is breathing heavily.#T1# Slingin controls from within his opponent's guard. Slingin passes into half guard. #SUB2# Slingin is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Beasley sees it coming and defends easily. Slingin content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. #T2# There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Beasley wants to get back to full guard.#SUB2# Slingin is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Beasley is just riding it out for now. Slingin eventually gives up the hold. Slingin not doing much here.

The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Slingin is looking to pass the guard... The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Slingin lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Beasley hang on? Slingin putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd are loving this. Slash Slingin dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. #R2##CL2# Slingin closes the distance and pushes Beasley back into the cage.#TD2# Slingin has hold of one of Beasley's legs. Beasley is fighting the takedown attempt but Slingin gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Slingin makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Beasley being controlled here, momentarily. Slingin advances position into side control! Slash Slingin has got the better of the ground game so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB2# Slingin has an Americana. Beasley didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Slingin is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Slingin hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
