#R1# Cormier displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Black throws out the jab. Cormier fails with the takedown#CL# and Black moves into the clinch. A left hand lands to the body for Black.
Come on Black - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Cormier changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Black fights it off and pushes away nicely.
#TD2# Cormier shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Black's guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cormier seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Black on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Black tries to get out of the position.#T1# Cormier trying to control but Black is working from the bottom. Cormier's corner is telling him to maintain position.#SUB2# Cormier thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Cormier wants to control from the top but Black keeps moving. Black wants to get back to his feet but Cormier is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Cormier is standing up over Black. Black looks to escape but Cormier dives into side control.
Black knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Cormier on the ground.#T2# Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Black bucks up and tries to throw Cormier off but instead Cormier has got his back!#SUB2# Cormier is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Black has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Cormier has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Black taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Cormier doesn't care though - he's delighted!
