#R1# Gustafsson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Meduza but Meduza pushes him off and we're back to square one.#TD# Gustafsson decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Gustafsson takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Meduza trying to control but Gustafsson postures up.
Gustafsson passes the guard and advances to mount! #SUB# Gustafsson with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Meduza tries to hold on but Gustafsson pushes him away. #T1# Gustafsson working the ground and pound effectively.
Gustafsson controlling the pace for now. Meduza is controlling an arm, preventing Gustafsson from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
Gustafsson thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Gustafsson sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Gustafsson controlling the position easily from mount. #T2##SUB# Gustafsson is working for a guillotine from mount but Meduza frees his head quite easily.
#SUB# Meduza has left one of his arms exposed and Gustafsson doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Meduza screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
