Mohammed feinted with a counter takedown. A big right followed by a crushing left from Black knocks Mohammed out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Jimmy Black! In defeat, Tyson Mohammed stepped up to the mic, saying 'I'M NOT CRYING!!'.

#R1# Mohammed uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Knox. Knox throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Knox fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Mohammed takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Knox connects with a superb combination that knocks Mohammed out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Knox before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Mohammed!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Yardbird Knox! After winning the bout, Yardbird Knox thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility. The defeated Tyson Mohammed had this to say: 'I'M NOT CRYING!!'.

#R1# Stone throws a shot from downtown. Mohammed moves away and avoids it. Stone misses with an uppercut. Mohammed saw that one coming. Stone connects with a looping right hand.
Mohammed gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Stone. Stone looks to throw the jab but Mohammed is out of range. Mohammed attempts a counter takedown but Stone avoids it well and moves away. Stone drops Mohammed with a straight right hand, right on the button! Stone follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Aaron Stone! Our winner, Aaron Stone, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans. Mohammed avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Battafucho. #SUB# Mohammed looking for submissions from an awkward position here.#SUB2# Battafucho looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Branca buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Branca lands with a straight right. Mohammed didn't see that one coming. A solid body kick from Branca. Branca definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Mohammed looks winded! Mohammed with a lazy takedown attempt and Branca counters with a stiff jab, followed by a cross and an uppercut! That's too much punishment for Mohammed to take - he tumbles to the canvas, blood pouring from his nose, barely conscious. That's the end of the fight! Great knockout by Branca!

#R1##TD2# Mohammed scores with a takedown into Buchanan's guard. Mohammed scores with a decent looking elbow strike.#CUT2# It looks like Kip Buchanan has been cut. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Mohammed working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well. Buchanan is trying to keep Mohammed in close.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mohammed postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Mohammed keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Buchanan's head.#ROC2# Buchanan is rocked! Buchanan looking to control.
Mohammed cracks Buchanan with a solid left hand. Oh Buchanan is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Mohammed has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Mohammed loads up on a big left hand. Buchanan felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Mohammed looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Buchanan can't hide his disappointment, as Mohammed celebrates the victory.

Montgomery is fighting it off but Mohammed persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Montgomery's guard against the cage. Montgomery looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Mohammed lands a couple of decent looking shots. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Mohammed working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.#SUB2# Mohammed drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Mohammed jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Montgomery tries to land a sweep but no joy. Mohammed connects with a couple of short punches. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mohammed lands a couple of decent looking shots. Mohammed postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.#ROC2# Montgomery is rocked! Mohammed gets to his feet and stands over Montgomery, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Montgomery felt that one! Mohammed unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Montgomery from any more punishment!

#R1# Mohammed displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Durden. Durden looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Durden fails miserably with a takedown attempt.#TD2# Mohammed fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Durden sprawls well initially but Mohammed persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. It looks like Mohammed is going to stand back up.
Mohammed perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Let's hope that Mohammed has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. It looks like Mohammed might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Durden knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mohammed on the ground.#T1# Mohammed tries to stand and escape but Durden is controlling the position. Mohammed seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Mohammed lands strikes from half guard. Mohammed is figuring out what he wants to do next. Mohammed content to control rather than advance. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mohammed is looking to take a break and control but Hitson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Hitson has his hands clasped together around Mohammed's back. He's all about the action. Mohammed landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Hitson is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Mohammed scores with a couple of nice shots. Hitson is in trouble now - Mohammed has advanced to mount! #SUB# Mohammed is working for a guillotine from mount but Hitson frees his head quite easily.
