Steyn utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. #SUB# Steyn working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Wackson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Wackson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Wackson throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Steyn works some decent striking defense from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Steyn working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Wackson . Wackson has Styles pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Styles manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Styles swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Styles tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Styles gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Wackson .
Styles swings wildly with an uppercut but Wackson uses good head movement to avoid it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wackson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Michael Wackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wackson takes a shot to the body in his stride.

That was a close round but I would say that Michael Wackson will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters!
