Thrasher ducks under a wild hook from John.
Thrasher tries to clinch there but John circles away.
John swats away the attempt to clinch by Thrasher.
Thrasher tries to close the distance and clinch up but John swats him away and circles back towards the center.
John lands a jab.
Thrasher throws a head kick but John moves out of range.
Thrasher throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around John's waist but John gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Thrasher off to one side.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
John looks to land a combination but Thrasher avoids it well.
John thuds a left hand into Thrasher's body.
Thrasher shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says John as he avoids it easily.
John tests Thrasher's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Thrasher is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.#T1#
Thrasher wants to clinch up but John keeps it at a distance.
John scores with a crisp jab that stopped Thrasher in his tracks. #CL#
John has closed the distance and engaged Thrasher in a clinch.
John throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Thrashers head.
Nice body punch from John - that landed with a thud.
John lands a left hand that snaps the head of Thrasher backwards. #ROC#

John's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Thrasher is aggressively charging in as John backs up avoiding any damage. John tosses out a jab and Thrasher runs right into it face first! Thrasher is out cold! John dropped down on all fours and is barking in Thrasher's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!

Ya Down pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Thrasher taps out and this one is all over!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Royce Franks.
Well Thrasher has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
