Not this time. Collins lands strikes from half guard.#ROC2# Ayala is rocked!#CUT2# It looks like Greg Ayala has been cut.#SUB2# Collins is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Ayala has managed to free his arm - good work. Oh Ayala is still in real trouble! Ayala takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Daizoff gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Ayala makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Daizoff really felt that one! Ayala on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Nice uppercut lands for Daizoff. That snapped Ayala's head back.

Woods controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Woods pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Ayala is keeping the position for now. #T4# A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Woods wants to stand and escape but instead Ayala has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. #REVR# Woods managing to control the position. Woods wants to get back to his feet but Ayala is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Woods has Ayala pulled in close to control his posture. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Woods is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Woods showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ayala tries to bench press Woods off him but Woods keeps the position.
