We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Fonald lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Santos wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Tupp with a lazy takedown attempt and Santos counters with a stiff right hand. Tupp swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Tupp misses with a hook. Santos ducked under it nicely. Santos connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Santos throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Tupp misses with a series of wild punches.
#T1# Santos lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Santos stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dea swivels though and keeps the full guard. Santos wants to control from the top but Dea keeps moving. Santos is pushing down on Dea's leg trying to pass to half guard.
