Not this time though. #SUB# Taylor is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Volto defends it well. Volto is pressing down on Taylor's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.#SUB2# Volto isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Taylor stacks Volto on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Taylor! Taylor does a little dance to reset his feet. Taylor is looking to land body kicks. Jansen was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.#TD2# Taylor shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Jansen is trying to defend but Taylor finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.#SUB2# Taylor seems to be working for a kimura but Jansen defends the submission attempt. Good throws a shot to the body.
Good dips to his left and cracks Taylor with an uppercut! A cross from Good lands. A jab from Good misses. Good misses with a wild body shot. Taylor throws out a counter right but Good avoids it with no problem. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Good lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Taylor has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Taylor and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Taylor uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Good. Taylor tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Good lands a lovely overhand right. A slow jab from Good misses its intended target. Good throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. We've been told by Good's head coaches at The Forge that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.#T1# Taylor avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Good misses with a looping left. Taylor drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Good defends it well. Taylor gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Good counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.#TD# Good darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Good is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Good lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
