The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zynne tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Swain manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Zynne scores with a push kick.
Zynne lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Zynne throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Swain tries a quick counter leg kick but Zynne is wise to it.
Swain pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
A counter left hand to the body from Zynne misses its target.
Howard Zynne seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zynne goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Zynne looks to land a left hand but Swain moved out of range nicely.

Swain seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Zynne shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Swain is backing up but Zynne catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Swain covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Zynne Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!

In his post fight interview, Howard Zynne started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception. |
