Jr tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jr is trying desperately to improve position.

It looks like Adam Ii might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jr steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Heed.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Jr.

Heed looks to score with a jab to the body but Jr is just out of range.
No joy there for Jr, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Jr wants to clinch.

It looks like Sergio Jr has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Heed scores with a shot to the body.
Jr goes for a double leg but Heed avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Heed continues to drive forward.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sergio Jr. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Heed wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Heed fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

It seemed like Heed was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Heed drops Jr with a beautiful combination! Jr stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Heed is looking for the KO!

Oh Jr is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
No luck for Jr with that takedown attempt.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Heed! But no joy.
Jr gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Heed gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Jr is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

Jr knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Vinicius on the ground.
Vinicius's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Vinicius slips a nice elbow through Jr's hands, connecting with Jr's forehead.

Vinicius should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Let's hope that Vinicius has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.#T2#

In the red corner, competing out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Benjamin Sisko! And in the blue corner, fighting out of London, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Sergio Jr!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Leandro Rodrigues and Daniel Cesar.


The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.

Sisko closes the distance and pushes Jr back into the cage.
Jr tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Sisko gets control of Jr's arms and successfully pulls guard. Sisko will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Sisko pushes a forearm under Jr's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Jr is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
