#R1# Thirkell fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Milicic goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.#CUT# It looks like Paul Thirkell has been cut. Horrible takedown attempt by Thirkell or perhaps it was just good defense by Milicic, which made it look bad. Thirkell fails with a takedown attempt. Darko Milicic has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Paul Thirkell. Thirkell shoots in but no luck this time. Thirkell tries for a takedown but Milicic circles away easily letting Milicic counter with a right hand. Milicic moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Milicic feints with a jab and clips Thirkell right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Thirkell is sent crashing into the canvas and Milicic leaps in for the kill! Thirkell tries to get to his feet but Milicic is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Thirkell is in need of a savior and steps in!

#R1##TD# Jempsa drives through with a takedown into guard. #SUB2# Thirkell is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Jempsa defends well. Jempsa sitting in guard, not really doing much. Thirkell utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. #SUB2# Thirkell is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Jempsa stays in close to Thirkell's body and controls the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jempsa makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.#SUB2# Thirkell working for a triangle but Jempsa defends it easily.
Jempsa has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Jempsa is stalling in the full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#T1# Thirkell wants to hit a switch here but Jempsa passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Thirkell there! Jempsa controlling from the full mount. Jempsa looking to finish Thirkell with some ground and pound. This is bad for Thirkell! Jempsa trying to control but he's not successful this time. #T2# Jempsa avoids the attempt from Thirkell to control. Jempsa lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Thirkell hang on? Thirkell tries to hold on but Jempsa pushes him away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jempsa raining down hammerfists from mount. Jempsa fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

#T3# Jempsa wants to control the pace but Thirkell is squirming around nicely. Thirkell sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Thirkell trying to control but Jempsa postures up.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Thirkell can do anything to dispel that myth. Jempsa drops an elbow to the side of Thirkell's head. #T4# Jempsa takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Jempsa seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Thirkell for as long as he can get away with. Jempsa is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Thirkell! Jempsa takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Jempsa landing punches. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jempsa landing shots from mount. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Jempsa escapes and throws Thirkell's legs to the side, diving into side control! Thirkell seems to have recovered his senses. Thirkell tries to improve position but can't. #T1# Jempsa landing a few strikes. Jempsa is staying tight to Thirkell's torso, preventing him from escaping. Jempsa lands a few punches from side control. Thirkell takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Thirkell is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Jempsa cracks Thirkell with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Jempsa immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Thirkell is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Jempsa!

#R1# Baggins scores with a jab. Baggins lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Baggins.#CUT# It looks like Paul Thirkell has been cut. Baggins throws a hook but Thirkell avoids it easily. Thirkell uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Baggins. Thirkell slips under a jab from Baggins. Baggins lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
#TD2# Thirkell fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Baggins sprawls well initially but Thirkell persists and gets the takedown into half guard. #ES# Baggins makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Thirkell looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Baggins is fending him off so far but Thirkell persists. Nope, Baggins circles away and we're back to standing. Baggins goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Thirkell shoots in for a double leg but Baggins sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. A big right from Baggins misses. Thirkell takes a jab right on the kisser.
#ROC# Thirkell is rocked! Baggins lands with a big right hook that stumbles Thirkell - he's out on his feet here! Baggins follows up with another monster hook that separates Thirkell from consciousness! Thirkell falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Baggins stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.

#R1# Thirkell fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Luque avoids it really well and circles away. Luque fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Thirkell on the side of the head.#TD# A momentary lapse in concentration from Luque enables Thirkell to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Luque manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Thirkell controls from within his opponent's guard. Thirkell passes into half guard. Thirkell is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Luque! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Luque is wriggling around trying to escape.

Luque is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Luque flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Thirkell anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Luque and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Thirkell slips an arm under Luque chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Thirkell has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Thirkell is squeezing on Luque like an anaconda would it's prey. Luque fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
