Rodger blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.#BC2# Rodger escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Tyson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Rodger. Tyson fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Tyson closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Tyson definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Rodger scores with a hook to the body. Tyson takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Rodger throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Rodger with a jab. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Tyson is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Tyson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Valentinovich but Valentinovich pushes him off and we're back to square one. Sergej Valentinovich seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Valentinovich lands with a shot to the body. Tyson moves to clinch but Valentinovich breaks away and Valentinovich counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. We've been told by Tyson's head coaches at Cozad MMA Las Vegas that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Nice shot by Valentinovich. Valentinovich jabs Tyson right on the nose. Tyson blinks but takes it well.#CUT2# It looks like Mike Tyson has been cut. Tyson tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Tyson gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Jab by Valentinovich. Tyson drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Valentinovich lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Mike Tyson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nice takedown defense from Cummings. No joy for Tyson on that attempt. Tyson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. #TD# Cummings shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Tyson manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Cummings wants to control from the top but Tyson keeps moving. #T1##SUB# Cummings drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Cummings jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Cummings preventing the sweep. Tyson is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Mathis manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Mathis jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
