#R1##TD2# Blake drives through with a takedown into guard. #SUB# Chamex escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Blake gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. #SUB# Chamex has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Blake can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Blake lands a couple of digs. Blake works over Chamex with some ground and pound from guard. Blake has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Blake controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Blake scores with a decent looking elbow strike. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Blake stays in close to Chamex's body and controls the position. Let's hope that Blake has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.#T1# Blake passes into half guard. Blake lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Blake lands strikes from half guard.#SUB2# Blake is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Chamex doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Blake. #SUB2# Blake is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Chamex is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Buddy Blake!
