#R1# Reznov darts in looking for a takedown but Smith gets double underhooks and turns Reznov into the cage. Smith tries to counter by closing the distance. Smith dives in and grabs Reznov's left leg, looking for a takedown. Reznov pushes down on Smith's head and hops out.#TD# Reznov closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Reznov lands in his opponent's guard. Reznov slips nicely into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Smith manages to get to full guard.
Reznov stays in close to Smith's body and controls the position. #R1# Smyth looks to land a combination but Moxley avoids it well. Smyth tries for a takedown but Moxley circles away easily and Moxley counters with a straight right hand. Smyth gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Moxley counters with a straight right hand. Smyth misses with a series of wild punches.
Moxley looks like he wants to counter punch here. Smyth throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Moxley's waist but Moxley gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Smyth off to one side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dio Smyth. That's going to take a lot out of him. Smyth misses with a jab to the body
and Moxley counters with a left to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Smyth on the wrong end of a nice hook. Moxley cracks Smyth with an open hand slap. A left lands for Moxley. Smyth fails with the takedown and Moxley cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.#T1# Smyth wants to clinch but Moxley slips to the side and Moxley counters with a lovely straight right hand! Dio Smyth seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Smyth gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Moxley cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Smyth is breathing heavily. Smyth tries to clinch but fails miserably letting Moxley counter with a right hand. Moxley with a jab. Smyth has his takedown stuffed and Moxley counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Moxley cracks Smyth with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Moxley lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Smyth tries to clinch but fails miserably enabling Moxley to counter with a crisp jab. Smyth shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Smyth looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Donk. Moxley catches Smyth right on the button with a cross. Smyth shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Moxley counters with a stiff right hand. #T2# Moxley lands with a nice body punch. Moxley's corner calls for a 1-2. Moxley obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Moxley throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
#ROC2# Smyth is rocked! Moxley cracks Smyth with a hook to the temple - Smyth is on wobbly legs here! Moxley swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Smyth falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Moxley wins by TKO!

#TD2# Smyth shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Vaughn is trying to defend but Smyth finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Smyth tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Vaughn. Smyth content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Vaughn wants to control but Smyth is keeping busy and won't allow it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Vaughn keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Smyth thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. #T1# Vaughn trying to control but Smyth postures up.

Very athletic spring there. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.#TD2# Smyth throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Vaughn was covering up waiting for the punch and Smyth finishes the takedown easily into guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Smyth has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Vaughn showed some decent athleticism there. Vaughn is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
