New is looking to clinch. Falcon walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. New checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Falcon scores with a punch to the head.#CL2# New has Falcon up against the cage in a clinch.

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Falcon throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Falcon lands a front kick. A nice inside leg kick there by Falcon. That's going to slow Bee down. Falcon connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Nice body punch from Falcon. Bee misses with a looping left. Falcon misses with a wild body shot. Falcon throws a nice inside leg kick. Bee ducks right into an uppercut from Falcon. Julio Falcon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.#TD2# Bee shoots in and bounces Falcon off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Bee lands a couple of digs. Bee trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Bee told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. #R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Falcon uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Curtis. Falcon throwing a counter right hand but Curtis manages to avoid it. Curtis takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
#CL# Falcon darts in and clinches Curtis up against the cage. Curtis with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
#BC2# Curtis's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Curtis checks a low kick from Falcon. Curtis misses with a low kick.

That was a close round but I would say that Julio Falcon will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Julio Falcon's cut. That's the end of the round.
