Lock should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.#SUB# Lock is defending against the submission attempts here by Maia.

Lock is looking to get back to full guard here but Maia has managed to pass to side control instead.#SUB# Maia tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Maia wants to improve his position but Lock is controlling well.

#R1# Maia shoots in looking for a takedown but Kush manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Maia's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Maia has eaten all the pies! Kush misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Maia blocks a jab. Kush throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Maia.#CUT# It looks like Dan Maia has been cut. Kush stuffs the takedown. Maia dives in for a single leg takedown but Kush sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Jason Kush has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dan Maia. A telegraphed right hand from Kush misses the target. Maia on the wrong end of a nice hook. Maia avoids the head kick by Kush.
Maia changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kush tries to avoid it but Maia manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kush to the ground. Kush escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Maia slips a straight right by Kush. Maia shoots in but Kush avoids the takedown attempt easily. Kush swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Jason Kush seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kush pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Kush waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Maia.#T1# Maia shoots in for a takedown but Kush shows good takedown defense. Jab, jab by Kush - just one landing. Kush throws a looping overhand right but Maia ducks down to avoid it. Kush moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Kush is looking to score with low kicks. Kush throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kush loads up on a big right hand but Maia slips the punch. A low kick from Kush misses #TD2# and Maia counters with a nice double leg into half guard. #SUB2# Maia trying to work for an americana but Kush has managed to regain full guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Maia pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kush is keeping the position for now. #SUB2# Maia drops back looking for a leg! Kush is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kush manages to kick Maia off! #R1# Maia shoots in for a double leg but Singcoli sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. A quick step to the side and Singcoli tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Maia shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Singcoli connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Maia shoots and misses #KD# and Singcoli counters with a flying knee that sends his opponent to the canvas! Singcoli looking to finish! Malicious Singcoli has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dan Maia.#SUB# Singcoli is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#SUB2# Maia working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Singcoli doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Singcoli manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Singcoli tries to avoid it but Maia manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Singcoli to the ground. Singcoli escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Maia fails with the takedown and Singcoli counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. #T4# Maia shoots and misses and Singcoli counters with a massive head kick! KABOOM! Maia is out cold! A devastating KO!

Albert Connor throws a lazy head kick #TD# and Maia counters with a takedown into side control. #SUB# Maia is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Albert Connor is trying to escape and Maia transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Albert Connor is forced to tap! Nice work there by Maia! Very nice indeed!

Marques connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Maia's hands.#KD2# Marques drops his shoulder and cracks Maia with a huge uppercut! Maia goes down! Can Marques finish him?
#CUT2# It looks like Dan Maia has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Marques seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. #SUB# Maia is looking for a triangle here but Marques uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Marques content to stall in guard here. Marques with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Marques's corner is telling him to maintain position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Billy Marques dominated that round. The cut man is working on Dan Maia's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! #R2##KD2# Marques drops Maia with a big left hand and mounts him. Maia is in big trouble! #ROC2# Maia is still looking wobbly from the end of the last round! Marques in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.

He lands one big shot that has Maia covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!

#R1# Danis fails with a takedown attempt. Maia shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Maia fails with a takedown attempt. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Danis! But no joy. Danis shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Maia as he jumps to the side. Maia shoots in but no luck this time. Danis unleashes a big counter combination but Maia bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dan Maia. That's going to take a lot out of him. Danis stuffs the takedown attempt from Maia. Maia gets slowly back to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#TD2# Danis closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Maia quickly recovers to half guard. Danis has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. #T1##SU2# Danis stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Danis throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Maia circles away from the clinch attempt#TD# and Maia decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Danis's guard.#SUB# Maia thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Danis is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Danis looking to hit a scissor sweep but Maia is one step ahead there. #T2# Maia wants to pass the guard but Danis is keeping the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#SU# Maia decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Danis shoots in but Maia avoids the takedown attempt easily. Danis fails with the takedown. Danis shoots in for a takedown but Maia shows good takedown defense. #T3# Danis throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Maia fails with a takedown attempt. Danis shoots for a double leg takedown but Maia sprawls well. He's pushed Danis's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. #TD# Maia shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Danis napping and manages to drive through into side control!#SUB# Maia tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Maia has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Danis is trying to control Maia's posture but Maia avoids it. #SUB# Maia is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Danis looks calm but he's in trouble here. Maia gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Danis is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Maia lets go of the hold and Danis can pop his arm back in it's socket.

#R1# Carnera with a jab. Maia fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Carnera connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Carnera ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Carnera lands a jab to the head.
Carnera lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Carnera tests Maia's chin there with a solid looking shot. Carnera jabs Maia right on the nose. Maia blinks but takes it well. This has been an exciting period of action! Maia changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Carnera tries to avoid it but Maia manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Carnera to the ground. Carnera escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Carnera misses with a two punch combination.
Carnera's corner calls for a 1-2. Carnera obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Carnera lands with a shot to the body. Nice takedown defense from Carnera. No joy for Maia on that attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dan Maia. That's going to take a lot out of him. Maia takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.#ROC2# Maia is rocked! Maia is breathing heavily.#KD2# Carnera feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Maia sprawling to the canvas! Maia rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Carnera finish him?!
Oh Maia is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Carnera cracks Maia with a brutal left hook that knocks him out cold! This one is over in a flash! Game over!

Maia trying to control the position from guard on top but Pallero is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. #SUB2# Pallero looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Maia has picked Pallero up and slammed him! Pallero can't keep hold of the triangle and Maia manages to pass to side control! Pallero is looking to regain half guard here but Maia keeps moving and retains side control. Pallero stops Maia from passing to mount. #SU# Maia stands up and we're back to a striking position. #TD# Maia drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.#SUB2# Pallero has his foot on Maia's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Maia works his way back into a safe position though. Pallero told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet. Pallero keeping moving, preventing Maia from controlling successfully. #SUB2# Pallero working for a triangle but Maia defends it easily.

Maia is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Maia hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
