Some wild striking there from Shaw.
Mason went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Shaw tries to close the distance and clinch but Mason swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. #KD#
Oooooh!!! Mason has knocked Shaw down with a huge combo! Mason steps away and waves a wobbly Shaw back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!#ROC#

Shaw fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Shaw tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but De Moncey defends well and Shaw ends up having to push De Moncey into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
As Shaw tries to get set, De Moncey tries to push him back and clinch up but Shaw manages to avoid the attempt.
Deshawn Shaw seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

De Moncey half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.

Shaw is nestled in close to Frederick, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
