#R1##CL2# Strong tries to keep at a distance but Mox has taken the fight into the clinch.#TD2# Mox has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Strong is trying to keep an underhook but Mox manages to get the takedown into half guard.#ES# Strong kicks off Mox and gets to his feet. Strong looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Mox is fending him off so far but Strong persists. Nope, Mox circles away and we're back to standing. Strong tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mox sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Strong somewhat. Mox lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Strong shoots in but Mox avoids the takedown attempt easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bernie Strong. That's going to take a lot out of him.#CL2# Mox takes the fight into the clinch. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Strong fails to pull guard.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Mox just misses with a elbow thrown towards Strong's brow. Strong tries to pull guard but Mox won't allow it.
#TD2# Mox works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. #ES# Strong wriggles free and stands up. #CL2# Mox darts in and clinches Strong up against the cage. Strong blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Mox tries to circle away but Strong has him pinned against the cage. Strong tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Mox just stands there and leans against the cage.#TD2# Mox is trying to trip Strong. He has hold of a leg but Strong is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Mox persists though and gets the takedown into guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Strong keeping full guard, as Mox tries to pass. #T2# Mox throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Strong works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Mox is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Strong looking to hit a scissor sweep but Mox is one step ahead there. Mox has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Mox is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. It looks like Mox might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Mox works over Strong with some ground and pound from guard.#T3# Mox wants to get up but he can't break Strong's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Mox is stalling in the full guard. Mox with a flurry of punches that miss. Mox controlling from the top position. #REF3# The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.#TD2# Mox shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Mox showed some decent athleticism there. Mox throwing shots but Strong is blocking nicely. #T4# Mox wants to pass to mount but Strong is defending the position. Well, if Mox is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Mox passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Strong! #SUB2# Mox is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Mox extends the arm and Strong is forced to tap!
