If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Mclovin is working hard here to advance position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#SUB2# Musicman looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Musicman working away. Mclovin is positioning himself to get back to half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Musicman in side control lands a decent elbow. Mclovin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Musicman on the ground. Mclovin is looking to reverse the position.#T1# Musicman fails to land a wild elbow strike.

#R1# Mclovin cracks Hardy with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Gunner Mclovin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mclovin tries a head kick but it misses.

Mclovin takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Mclovin is trying to improve his position. Hardy creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Hardy throws an elbow but Mclovin slips to the side and avoids it well. Hardy looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Mclovin is avoiding damage well.

#R1# Mclovin throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Mclovin shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Barry sprawls well. Barry wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Mclovin gets slowly back to his feet. A counter left hand to the body from Barry misses its target.#CL# Barry moves into the clinch. Mclovin taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Barry has Mclovin pressed against the cage, preventing Mclovin from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Mclovin is struggling to control the position. Barry tries to score a body lock takedown but Mclovin shows good agility there to stay on his feet.#T1##TD2# Mclovin tightens his grip and picks Barry up, before dumping him to the ground. Barry manages to land in guard. Mclovin not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Mclovin wants to pass the guard but Barry is keeping the position. Barry trying to keep a closed guard but Mclovin is proving a slippery customer.
