Marshall winds up and cracks Evol with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Evol is trying to get back to full guard. Evol on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Evol tries to get out of the position. Evol makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Evol. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Marshall with a nice head shot there. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Marshall's corner. There ya go! There ya go! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#T1# Marshall keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Evol's head. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Marshall takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. #TD2# Marshall gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Marshall tries to stand but Perry is controlling his head. #SUB2# Marshall is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Perry has escaped the position, nice work there. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. #T1# Marshall wants to stand but Perry is controlling his arm. Perry is letting Marshall control him for a moment. #REF3# The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.#TD2# Marshall looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
