#R1# We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Gracie blocks a head kick by Mejia.
And Gracie tries to counter it with a takedown but Mejia pushes his down on his head and steps out. Mejia tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Mejia motions for Gracie to come forward. Mejia throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Gracie has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Mejia finds it's way round the side to connect with Gracie's head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mejia throws a left and a right that both miss
#TD2# so Gracie counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Mejia controls Gracie momentarily but Gracie frees himself. #T1##SUB2# Gracie drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gracie jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. #SUB2# Gracie drops back looking for a leg! Mejia is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Mejia manages to kick Gracie off! Gracie jumps back into Mejia's guard. Gracie pushing down on Mejia's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Gracie passes to full mount! #SUB2# Gracie is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Mejia is forced to tap! Great finish!
