Perez is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Rainmaker. Rainmaker tries to land a front kick but Perez steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Rainmaker throws a push kick but Perez slaps the foot to one side. Rainmaker throws the kick towards the body but Perez avoids it. Rainmaker throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Perez counters with a nice uppercut. Perez connects with a looping right hand.

Perez tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rainmaker paws at him with a jab and circles away. Rainmaker tries to land a body kick and Perez counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Good exchange - Perez coming out on top. Rainmaker pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Rainmaker is breathing heavily. Perez tries to clinch up but Rainmaker circles away and keeps his distance. Perez shoots in for a double leg but Rainmaker sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Rainmaker shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Jonvee Rainmaker is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.#T2##CL2# Rainmaker gets tackled into the cage by Perez. Perez maintains the clinch. This has been an exciting period of action! Perez fails to pull guard.

Jonvee Rainmaker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Markie Perez. Rainmaker is trying to maintain a safe position but Perez gets an underhook and turns Rainmaker into the cage. Rainmaker tries to stall but Perez uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Rainmaker really is a fat lump. Rainmaker looking to slow down the pace here. Perez tries to pull guard but Rainmaker forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Perez has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Perez tries to pull guard but Rainmaker won't allow it.

Perez lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
