#R1##TD2# Marshall drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Marshall is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Perry will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Marshall tries to stand but Perry is controlling his head. #SUB2# Marshall is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Perry has escaped the position, nice work there. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. #T1# Marshall wants to stand but Perry is controlling his arm. Perry is letting Marshall control him for a moment. #REF3# The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.#TD2# Marshall looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Marshall looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. #T2# Marshall controlling the action here. Nice strikes from Marshall there. #T3# Marshall performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Let's hope that Marshall has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.#T4# Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Marshall with the ground and pound but Perry uses the opportunity to regain guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Marshall seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Marshall is looking to stand up but Perry won't let him. #REF3# The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Greg Marshall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!#CL2# Marshall has taken the fight to the clinch.

Greg Marshall dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. #R2##TD2# A momentary lapse in concentration from Perry enables Marshall to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Perry manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Marshall with a nice head shot there.#ROC2# Perry is rocked!#SUB2# Marshall thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Oh Perry is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!#SUB2# Marshall is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Marshall working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Marshall arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Perry's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
