#R1# Johnson works over Robertson's head and body with a nice combination.#CUT2# It looks like Lemuel Robertson has been cut. Johnson bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.#CL2# Johnson forces Robertson back against the cage and clinches.#TD2# Johnson manages to pull guard.
Johnson controlling the position.#SUB# Robertson has gone for a leg lock! Johnson slips out almost immediately though and dives into Robertson's guard.#REVB# Robertson wants to get back to his feet but Johnson is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Robertson working a defensive guard here.
Johnson is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#T1# It looks like Johnson might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.#SUB# Robertson has an active guard here but Johnson has managed to pass into half guard.

Robertson is not content to let Johnson control the position. #SUB2# Johnson is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Robertson is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. #T3# Robertson manages to get back to half guard. Johnson perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Johnson working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. Johnson lands with a punch from half guard. Johnson passes to full mount! Robertson is trying to escape the mount.
Robertson tries to lock up and control but Johnson gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.#SU2# Johnson get's back to his feet. Jack Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.#T4##TD2# Johnson decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Ground and pound from Johnson. Johnson lands strikes from half guard. Johnson is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Johnson controlling the pace for now. #SUB2# Johnson quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Johnson but it's paid off an Robertson is forced to tap! Nice work by Johnson.

#R1# Johnson fails with the takedown#TD2# and Black counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Johnson is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Black scores with a couple of nice shots. Johnson pushes Black off looking to stand but Black dives back in and keeps control.
Black is trying to control the action in half guard but Johnson is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Johnson on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. #CUT2# It looks like Jack Johnson has been cut. Black takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Black throwing shots but Johnson is blocking nicely. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Johnson wants to get back to his feet.
Black lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. #ROC2# Johnson is rocked!#CUT2# Jack Johnson's cut is getting worse. Black lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Johnson! More strikes land and this one is all over! Black jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!

#R1# Barrett avoids a kick to the body.
#TD2# Johnson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Barrett tries to get back to half guard but can't.#SU2# Johnson decides to stand back up. Johnson steps back and let's Barrett get back to his feet.#TD2# Johnson fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Barrett to the ground. Johnson is now in Barrett's guard. Barrett tries to land a sweep but no joy. Barrett keeping moving, preventing Johnson from controlling successfully. Barrett is trying to control the position but Johnson postures up. Johnson postures up in Barrett's guard and throws a big left but Barrett blocks it. Johnson scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Johnson won't allow Barrett to sweep him here. #SU2# Johnson stands and steps away. Barrett gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. #T1##CL2# Johnson darts in and clinches Barrett up against the cage.#TD2# Johnson successfully pulls guard.
Johnson pulls Barrett in close to prevent any damage. Barrett wanted to stand there but Johnson had control of the position. Barrett working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. #SUB2# Johnson looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Johnson looking for a sweep. Not yet Johnson, not yet. #T2##SUB2# Johnson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Barrett gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Johnson wants to control but Barrett passes easily into half guard.
Johnson wants to control but Barrett is keeping busy and won't allow it. Johnson is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Barrett is staying active.#T3# Johnson wants to get back to full guard.#SUB# Barrett is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Johnson defends it well. Johnson punching from the bottom.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Johnson moves into full guard.
Johnson trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. #T4# My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.#ES2# The fighters are working up against the cage. Johnson manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.#TD2# Johnson wants the takedown. Barrett is fighting it off but Johnson persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Barrett's guard against the cage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Barrett has his hands on Johnson's head, controlling the position. Johnson passes into half guard under a barage of strikes. Johnson works his foot free and advances to mount. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Barrett is looking to get to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jack Johnson dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. #R2##TD2# Johnson gets a takedown into half guard. Barrett is trying to control but can't.
Johnson passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Barrett! #SUB2# Barrett tries to improve his position but Johnson has taken his back! Johnson has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Barrett tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Johnson pushes Barrett away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
