Martinus fails with a takedown attempt. Martinus tries for a takedown but Nuts sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Nuts tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Martinus manages to circle out of the way. Martinus dives in and grabs Nuts's left leg, looking for a takedown. Nuts pushes down on Martinus's head and hops out. Deez Nuts has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Botros Martinus.#CL2# Martinus closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. #BC# Nuts breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Martinus manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Tubbs displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Martinus throws out the jab. Tubbs drops down looking for a counter takedown but Martinus sprawls and moves away. Tubbs shoots in and drives through. Martinus sprawls well. A bone on bone clash there as Martinus blocks the leg kick.

Tubbs went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
