#CUT2# It looks like Ilpo Pallero has been cut.#TD2# Baban throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Pallero was covering up waiting for the punch and Baban finishes the takedown easily into guard. #SUB# Pallero pushes a forearm under Baban's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Baban is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

#R1# Baban tries to clinch but Finch is having none of it. Baban tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Finch swivels and escapes. Nice takedown defense from Finch. No joy for Baban on that attempt. #TD# A momentary lapse in concentration from Baban enables Finch to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Baban manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Finch trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Finch stays in close to Baban's body and controls the position. #SUB# Finch drops back looking for a leg! Baban is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Baban manages to kick Finch off! Finch jumps back into Baban's guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Finch with a flurry of punches that miss. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#T1# Baban can't keep his opponent in guard - Finch advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Baban works his way to full guard. Good work.#SUB# Finch drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Finch jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Baban being controlled here, momentarily. Baban looks winded! Finch could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.#T2# The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Finch prevents Baban from getting back to his feet. Finch is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Baban looking to control.

#R1# Vance's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Vance duly obliges. #TD2# Baban looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Baban throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Vance is looking to improve his position.
Baban missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Vance keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Vance really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Vance blocking the ground and pound attempt from Baban. #SUB2# Vance is defending against the submission attempts here by Baban.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The fighters are battling for position here. Vance manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Baban throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Vance works some decent striking defense from the bottom. #T1# Baban with a nice head shot there. Baban throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Baban wants to pass the guard but Vance is keeping the position. Vance is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Vance bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Baban's guard. #REVR# A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Vance accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Vance postures up in Baban's guard and throws a big left but Baban blocks it. Vance looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Vance connects with a couple of short punches.#T2# Vance stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Baban swivels though and keeps the full guard. Vance is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Baban loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Vance throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Baban for as long as he can get away with. Vance missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Vance stays in close to Baban's body and controls the position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! A close round but Harem Baban will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! #R2##TD2# Excellent takedown into side control there by Baban. Harem Baban has got the better of the ground game so far. The strikes coming from Baban are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Vance throws a couple of strikes from the bottom.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Vance works over Baban with some ground and pound from guard.#T4# Baban has momentary wrist control but Vance slips an elbow through the middle. Vance controls the pace of the fight for a moment. This is a sustained period of stalling by Vance. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. And that's the end of the fight! Hobert Vance showed his dominance in that final round. Well Vance has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
