#R1# Morris takes a body punch but keeps moving. A big right from Luque misses. Morris tries to counter with a takedown but Luque is quick to defend against it. Luque looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Luque fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Luque throws out a loose jab but Morris uses good head movement to avoid it. Luque misses the jab.#TD# Morris feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Morris passes Luque's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Luque wants to improve his position but Morris is controlling well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Morris content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Luque trying to control here.

#R1# Luque connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Gardet is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Luque. A big right from Luque misses. #TD# Gardet shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Gardet advances position into side control!#SUB# Gardet tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. #SUB# Gardet has hold of Luque's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Luque tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Gardet cranks the arm and Luque screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Luque, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

#R1# Luque lands with a shot to the body. The crowd cheers as Luque lands an impressive looking overhand right. Carter doesn't seem phased though. Luque tests Carter's chin there with a solid looking shot. Luque definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Luque bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Luque connects with an inside leg kick. Luque keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Carter moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Luque moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Carter takes one to the chin there. Carter changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Luque tries to avoid it but Carter manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Luque to the ground. Luque escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Mario Luque seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Luque feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Carters jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Carter takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Carter fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Luque avoids it really well and circles away. Carter throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Carter misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Mario Luque has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chris Carter. Luque cracks Carter with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.#T1# Carter tries for a takedown but Luque circles away easily and Luque counters with a nice uppercut. Luque lands a jab to Carter's midsection. Luque staying out of range there. Carter looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Luque scores with a nice right hand.
Luque dips to his left and cracks Carter with an uppercut!#ROC# Carter is rocked! Luque defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Carter. Carter is still on wobbly legs! Can Luque finish him? Carter fails with the takedown and Luque counters with a straight right hand. Luque lands the left hand. Luque's jab looks to have found its range, popping Carter under the eye.#TD2# Carter closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Carter lands in his opponent's guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Luque working a defensive guard here.
Carter has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Buoy Training. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.#T2# Luque can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Carter controls the pace. Luque on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Luque tries to get out of the position. Carter stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Luque swivels though and keeps the full guard. Carter passes into half guard. Carter seems to have recovered his senses.#SUB2# Carter is working for a kimura but Luque is defending it quite comfortably.

#R1# Luque uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.#CL# Ryokale fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Luque, pushing him back against the cage. Luque tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. #TD# Ryokale successfully pulls guard.
#ES# Ryokale manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Ryokale closes the distance and clinches up with Luque, looking for a takedown. Ryokale pushes Luque against the cage but Luque circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.#CL# Ryokale closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Ryokale misses with a punch to the body.
Luque is pressed up against the cage. Ryokale has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Luque down to the mat. Luque avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Ryokale takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.#CUT2# It looks like Ruddo Ryokale has been cut. Nice body punch from Luque. This has been an exciting period of action! Luque stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Luque cracks a nice hook into Ryokale's ribs. Luque throws a solid leg kick but Ryokale takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Luque. Luque with a body punch. A glancing blow. Ryokale walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Ryokale throws a hook but Luque blocks it. Luque connects with a looping right hand.
Luque scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.#ROC2# Ryokale is rocked! Luque fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Oh Ryokale is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Ryokale is breathing heavily. Ryokale shoots in looking for a takedown. Luque tries to sprawl out of it but Ryokale keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Luque manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Ryokale seems to have got his legs back now. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ruddo Ryokale. That's going to take a lot out of him.#T1# Luque dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Luque with a body punch. A glancing blow. #KD2# Luque cracks Ryokale with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Ryokale looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Luque finish him?
Luque lands a leg kick that knocks Ryokale off balance momentarily. Luque has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Luque drops Ryokale with a straight right hand, right on the button! Luque follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!

Lavigne thuds a left hand into Luque's body. Lavigne checks a low kick from Luque. Lavigne ducks under a wild hook from Luque. Lavigne misses the shot to the body.
